Winter Whites

by Janine Blackwelder

With the holidays fast approaching, we have a couple of cards that are quick and easy to make and they only require one color of card stock.

White Floral Rose:

This card features a white Floral Rose on an embossed card with a simple sentiment stamped on a tag.

  • Emboss the bottom of an A2 card with an embossing folder, then use a scoring board to emboss three lines, 1/8" apart above the embossed area.
  • Create the Floral Rose by punching all shapes from white card stock including the Pine Branch.
  • Adhere to card front with foam tape.
  • Punch one medium Scallop Multi Tags from white card stock, stamp sentiment with red ink. Tuck tag under Rose and adhere with foam tape.
  • Embellish embossed border with red glitter dots or rhinestones.

White Holly Flower:

Our next card features a flower created from the Dimensional Holly and Berry punch that was assembled following the instructions for the Poinsettia.

  • Punch each scallop with the Star Punchline punch. Cut one 4" piece of white ribbon, fold to create a loop and adhere to Scallop Circle with clear drying glue.

  •  Punch one 2-1/8" Straight Circle from white card stock and adhere to center of Scallop Circle. Tie a bow from white ribbon then adhere with clear drying glue.
  • Create the Holly Flower by punching all shapes from white card stock including the Pine Branch.
  • Assemble flower using the Poinsettia instructions, embellish center with gold beads and tip each petal with crystal glitter. Adhere to center of circle.
  • Punch Scallop Multi Tag from white card stock, stamp sentiment in red ink. Tuck under flower and adhere with foam tape.

We would love to see your interpretation of these cards. Be sure to share them on our Facebook page.

  1. I love both of these. Very elegant...yet simple. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Same as Wanda-I think they're glorious!
